*** MONDAY ADVISORY *** SINGLETON TO TAKE OATH AS NEWEST ASSEMBLY MEMBER

Will Fill 7th Legislative District Seat Vacated by Jack Conners

Troy Singleton will take the oath of office on Monday to become the newest member of the New Jersey General Assembly, representing the current 7th Legislative District, which includes the municipalities of Beverly, Burlington, Burlington Township, Cinnaminson, Delanco, Delran, Edgewater Park, Florence, Maple Shade, Merchantville, Mount Holly, Palmyra, Pennsauken, Riverside, Riverton, Westampton, and Willingboro.

The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, November 21, in the Assembly Chambers of the State House in Trenton.

Singleton, 38, will fill the seat vacated by Jack Conners who recently retired to serve as Director of Veterans Affairs for Camden County. He joins Assemblyman Herb Conaway, Jr., M.D. in representing the 7th Legislative District in the Assembly.

Singleton also won the general election on Nov. 8 for a full Assembly term and will represent the newly configured 7th district when the new legislature is sworn in on January 10, 2012.
