MORIARTY: ‘AFTER BUDGET CUT, NJ AFTER 3 IS IN TROUBLE’

Assemblyman Paul Moriarty (D-Gloucester/Camden) had the following published in The Times of Trenton :

“The governor’s funding cut to the New Jersey After 3 program, which serves approximately 5,000 students in 34 public schools, is nonsensical. During tough economic times, governments must prioritize, just as families do. Now we know that the governor finds it more important to put a couple of extra thousand dollars in the pockets of millionaires than to make sure underserved children have the means to get ahead in life…”
