(4th LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT) — In response to a news release issued Wednesday by Assemblyman Domenick DiCicco, Assemblyman Paul D. Moriarty (D-Camden/Gloucester) issued the following statement:
“It’s a shame that Assemblyman DiCicco actively endorses spending taxpayer money on campaign events. Then again, his public policy record is nothing to brag about, considering he’s done very little to protect taxpayer dollars since taking office.
“I was the sponsor of the new law implementing a 2 percent property tax cap. Assemblyman DiCicco was not.
“I was the sponsor of a law establishing an interdistrict school choice program. Assemblyman DiCicco was not.
“I was the one who sponsored several job creation measures. Assemblyman DiCicco flip-flopped on them.
“Assemblyman DiCicco is all talk and no action, including apparently when the governor spends taxpayers money on campaign events.”
