Legislation Result of Year-Long Study to Change Culture that Fosters Harassment, Intimidation & Bullying in Schools
(TRENTON) — Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle (D-Bergen), Senate Majority Leader Barbara Buono (D-Middlesex), Senate President Stephen M. Sweeney (D-Gloucester), Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver (D-Essex) and Senator Richard J. Codey (D-Essex) on Friday issued a multimedia package on their “Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights” (A-3466) — bipartisan legislation designed to combat harassment, intimidation and bullying among school-age children.
The multimedia package consists of a video with excerpts from the legislators’ news conference on the bill, audio of the same and a release discussing the legislation in more detail.
