(TRENTON) – The Assembly on Thursday will consider legislation to give the Assembly Judiciary Committee subpoena power to investigate NJ Transit safety and finances, the Aid in Dying for the Terminally Ill Act, regulate transportation network companies such as Uber and Lyft, increase state budget and debt transparency, restrict the use of isolated confinement in correctional facilities and create a plan to combat the Zika virus.
Also possible are override attempts on Gov. Christie’s vetoes of legislation that would establish automatic voter registration as part of driver’s license application or renewal and increase the availability of fresh produce and nutritious food for small food retailers in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.
