(TRENTON) – The Assembly on Thursday will vote on bills to eliminate the use of standardized testing for teacher evaluations, require the state to compensate local governments for project delays during the ongoing transportation funding crisis, allow striking workers to receive unemployment benefits, improve student concussion safety, enhance the Farm-to-School program and boost school bus safety.
Also possible are override attempts on Gov. Christie’s vetoes of legislation that would establish automatic voter registration as part of driver’s license application or renewal and increase the availability of fresh produce and nutritious food for small food retailers in low- and moderate-income neighborhoods.
