OLIVER & CRYAN: CHRISTIE SHOULD SIGN DEMOCRATIC JOB-CREATING BUSINESS TAX CUTS & INCENTIVES

(TRENTON) – Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver and Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Cryan released the following statements after the governor told Fox News he plans to introduce business tax cuts in his budget proposal.
Oliver (D-Essex/Passaic):
“Democrats have already passed several job-creating business tax cuts and incentives, so if the governor is sincere he need only sign those bills to accomplish that goal. Democrats will of course review his budget plan, but the first thing the governor should do is simply sign those job creation bills.”
Cryan (D-Union):
“Democrats have already proposed business tax cuts, but we’re certainly encouraged that the governor has joined us in discussing tax decreases after he hiked taxes last year on everyone but millionaires.”
