OLIVER & CRYAN STATEMENT ON THURSDAY SENATE RACE TO THE TOP HEARING

Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver and Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Cryan released the following statement Monday:

“The testimony at the Sept. 7 Assembly hearing showed startling incompetence in the Department of Education, and that was with scant cooperation from the administration. The lack of answers on this $400 million mistake remains disturbing to all New Jersey taxpayers. Too many unanswered questions on this inexcusable mistake remain.. Assembly Democrats will monitor Thursday’s hearing and then decide what further needs to be done to ensure taxpayers get full accountability.”
