Assembly Speaker Sheila Oliver (D-Essex/Passaic) released the following statement Tuesday on John B. Wolf, the former general counsel at Rutgers, being assigned a new job within Rutgers following the questions surrounding the basketball coach Mike Rice:
“”This is outrageously unacceptable. Holding people accountable does not mean giving someone who failed to do his job a new job paying nearly $281,000. This is an insult to taxpayers and the Rutgers community. This decision cannot stand and I want to know who was responsible for it. I’m beginning to believe misrepresentations have been made.”
