Pintor Marin Hails Caride Nomination

(NEWARK) – Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor Marin (D-Essex) released the following statement Tuesday on Gov.-elect Phil Murphy’s nomination of Assemblywoman Marlene Caride (D-Passaic/Bergen) as state Department of Banking and Insurance commissioner:

“I was thrilled to hear of Governor-elect Murphy’s nomination of my friend and colleague.
“Assemblywoman Caride will do a great job leading the Department of Banking and Insurance. This is yet another smart choice by Governor-elect Murphy.
“Marlene has been a great advocate for working class New Jerseyans during her time in the Assembly, and I know she will take that commitment to the Murphy administration, too. It’s never been more important to make sure banks and insurance companies are held accountable, and New Jerseyans will have no better advocate than Assemblywoman Caride.”
