Pintor Marin: The FY2020 Budget Funds Our Priorities and the Governor’s Priorities

Assembly Budget Committee chairperson Eliana Pintor Marin released the following statement in response the Governor’s signing of the Fiscal Year 2020 State Budget:

“I am proud of the budget the Democratic Legislature delivered to the Governor and I am very pleased that he recognizes that the spending plan is fiscally responsible and sustainable.

“This budget provides much-needed additional funding for NJ Transit, property tax relief, seniors, veterans and more while retaining a $1.1 billion surplus.

“I thank my colleagues on the Assembly Budget Committee for their tireless efforts over the past several months as we worked to produce a spending plan that funds our shared priorities.”
