(NEWARK) – Assemblywoman Eliana Pintor-Marin (D-Essex) released the following statement Wednesday on plans for a Newark casino:
“This is welcome news for New Jersey and its economy.
“With this exciting plan, we’ll be bringing jobs and economic growth to Newark, all while producing revenue to meet vital budget needs.
“The gaming industry has changed and New Jersey must change with it. Newark is perfectly poised as a destination because of its accessibility to mass transit, the population density and the need for jobs and economic development. I look forward to this plan moving forward.”
