(TRENTON) – Incoming-Assembly Budget Chairman Vincent Prieto (D-Hudson/Bergen) released the following statement Tuesday morning on the passing of Assembly Republican Leader Alex DeCroce:
“Words cannot express my shock and sadness at the passing of Alex DeCroce.
“Alex was a devoted representative for his constituents, yet an ally to all of New Jersey.
“No matter his role, Alex was a leader through and through. Yet most importantly, Alex DeCroce was a gentleman, and quite simply he was a friend. To say he will be sorely missed is an understatement.
“I send my deepest condolences and prayers to his family and friends.”
