RAMOS PLEASED COURT RULING WILL HELP URBAN SCHOOLS MEET UNIQUE CHALLENGES

Assembly Education Committee member Ruben J. Ramos, Jr. (D-Hudson) today issued the following statement on the New Jersey Supreme Court’s school funding formula ruling:

“As a school teacher, I’m pleased with the court’s decision today. I know, first hand, the challenges teachers face in the classroom. This funding is necessary to ensuring our schools have every reDest available to provide a thorough and efficient education.

“While this decision will go a long towards helping our urban schools meet unique challenges, I believe every child deserves the right to a quality education in New Jersey, regardless of their zip code. Our children deserve nothing less,” said Ramos, a Paterson public school teacher.
