Riley: Help NJ Students Finish College

(TRENTON) — Assemblywoman Celeste M. Riley had the following published Thursday in The Burlington County Times:

“College students across New Jersey will encounter many due dates this fall, but before they’ve even listened to a lecture or looked anything up at the library, they have one looming deadline to meet.

“The time has come for them to pay their term bills.

“Office hours and peer tutors will be there to support students in the classroom during the semester, but far too many have nowhere to turn for help in the bursar’s office. For some, this may mean taking the semester off. For others, it may mean not going back at all — not this fall, not next spring, not ever…”
