Riley Lauds Signage of Economic Development Incentive Reform Law & the New Economic Benefits it Provides to South Jersey

Measure Designed to Create Jobs & Spark Economic Development

(TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Celeste Riley (D-Cumberland/Gloucester/Salem) today praised the signage of “The New Jersey Economic Opportunity Act of 2013” law (A-3680), which will create new economic opportunities that until now have escaped communities in Southern New Jersey.

“This law will help South Jersey counties finally qualify for state supported economic development projects that have typically been out of their reach. Due to the economic and population dynamics of the state, these counties have not been able to meet the requirements of existing incentive programs. This law helps create new opportunities for South Jersey by altering these requirements, which will help attract more businesses and create more jobs for residents in this part of the state.”
