SAYREVILLE, NJ – On Thursday, June 5th, the fifth grade class of Sayreville’s Samsel Upper Elementary School in Parlin will join Assemblyman John S. Wisniewski at the Assembly Tourism, Gaming and the Arts Committee meeting to lobby on behalf of A1715 designating salt water taffy as the New Jersey state candy. The bill was introduced by Assemblyman Wisniewski at the students’ request.
