“During the past few weeks, defamatory fliers have been distributed regarding Mayor Robert Giangeruso and Commissioner Thomas DiMaggio in Lyndhurst. In these fliers, the mayor is compared to Adolf Hitler, the Lyndhurst police to the Nazi Gestapo and the town of Lyndhurst to Nazi Germany. These attempted comparisons are abhorrent to the people of Lyndhurst and all of Bergen County…”
