Following today’s official filing deadline, Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin (D-Middlesex) formally announced his appointments of State Senator Vin Gopal and Middlesex County Democratic Organization Executive Director Iris Michelle Delgado to the New Jersey Redistricting Commission. Speaker Coughlin issued the following statement:
“It is with exceptional pride and confidence that I am naming Senator Gopal and Iris Delgado as my appointments to the New Jersey Congressional Redistricting Commission. Both Senator Gopal and Ms. Delgado bring valuable knowledge, diversity and expertise to the Commission and will work to ensure a fair and equitable process.
