Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement today is recognition of Memorial Day:
“Memorial Day is a time to remember our fallen soldiers, the brave men and women who paid the ultimate price to protect our freedom and the American way of life we all hold dear.
“Today and every day, we honor the memories of those members of the military who never returned home to their families.
“We must always remember with gratefulness all those who served and died for our country.
