Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Middlesex) released the following statement on Monday regarding the 6th anniversary of Hurricane Sandy:
“Six years ago today, Superstorm Sandy made landfall in New Jersey. I am thankful to those who lent a helping hand to rebuild our communities and support their neighbors. We stand with every family and victim as the process continues to strengthen and rebuild the neighborhoods and businesses affected by this tragic disaster. Climate change poses a fundamental threat to people’s livelihoods and we will fight for the protection of future generations to come.”
