Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement Thursday on the passing of Veronica McGreevey, mother of former Governor Jim McGreevey:
“My wife Tish and I send our most heartfelt condolences to former Governor Jim McGreevey and the McGreevey family on the passing of his mother Veronica “Ronnie” McGreevey.
“Ronnie was a loving caregiver for her family and for the many lives she touched throughout the years.
“Our thoughts are with the family at this time.”
