Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement following the confirmation of Douglas Fasciale and Rachel Wainer Apter to the New Jersey Supreme Court:
“Congratulations to the newest members of the New Jersey Supreme Court, Associate Justices Rachel Wainer Apter and Douglas Fasciale. The Court’s newest jurists are both highly respected attorneys who bring valuable personal and professional perspectives to the bench. I commend Governor Murphy and the Senate for upholding New Jersey’s time-honored tradition of maintaining a balanced court. I wish them well in their new roles.”
