(TRENTON) – Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement today on the passing of Monroe Township Mayor Gerald Tamburro:
“I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mayor Tamburro, a tireless advocate for the residents of Monroe Township and a dedicated public servant.
“Mayor Tamburro was a respected leader, a true family man and a shining example of how elected officials can improve the lives of the people they represent.
“I offer my sincerest condolences to Mayor Tamburro’s family and to the residents of Monroe Township.”
