Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement on the passing of former Pennington Mayor Anthony Persichilli, husband of Judith Persichilli, the incoming commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Health:
“I want to extend my deepest condolences to Judy Persichilli on the passing of her husband, the Honorable Anthony Persichilli. Anthony was not only the former mayor of Pennington, but the longest serving Mayor in the history of Pennington Borough who was known as a consensus builder and staunch advocate for his constituents. I send my thoughts and prayers to Judy, her family and the many friends of Anthony.”
