Today, New Jersey’s craft and micro-brewing industry stands 141 strong.
A major economic engine, a law sponsored by Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin (D-Middlesex) is responsible for standing up the industry, as we know it today. One of the Speaker’s early career accomplishments as a 19th district legislator, the law empowered brewing operations to expand through regulatory reform. On the 10th anniversary of the bill’s signing date – September 19, 2012 – the Speaker rejoins with industry leaders for a tour and tasting to celebrate and look ahead.
