(TRENTON) – Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver (D-Essex/Passaic) released the following statement on Monday:
“Our hearts go out to the victims of today’s tragedy, and the thoughts and prayers of the General Assembly will be with them and their families and friends.
“If you are able to do so, check with the Red Cross and other charities to see what assistance may be needed as the heroic response to this tragedy continues. Today is yet another reminder that senseless evil exists in our world, but compassion for one another is always stronger.”
