SPEAKER OLIVER STATEMENT ON GOV. CHRISTIE’S INAUGURATION

(TRENTON) — Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver (D-Essex) on Tuesday released the following statement on Gov. Christopher J. Christie’s inauguration as governor:

“I offer my sincerest congratulations to Gov. Christie and Lt. Gov. Guadagno on their historic day.

“Gov. Christie’s inauguration is yet another sign that great change has come to our great state of New Jersey and that the old ways of doing things are no more. I know everyone in the Assembly wishes him the best.

“As we move forward in the months and years ahead, we’ll see great progress if we all endeavor to find common ground and work together to improve the lives of all New Jerseyans.

“After all, we all have one shared goal – making this state the best it can be.”
