SPEAKER OLIVER: VOTERS CAN DECIDE FOR THEMSELVES ON SCHOOL BUDGETS

(TRENTON) — Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver (D-Essex/Passaic) released the following statement on Monday:

“A lot more goes into deciding education and the future of our children than whether teachers accept a wage freeze.

“New Jersey voters are certainly capable of weighing all the variables involved in educating children and deciding for themselves whether to support local school spending without lobbying from top state officials.”
