Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto (D-Bergen/Hudson) released the following statement Friday on the 20-bill package introduced yesterday by Assembly Higher Education Committee Chair Celeste Riley and Assemblyman Joseph Cryan to improve college affordability and attainability in New Jersey:
“Making college more affordable for our children is one of my main legislative goals and is absolutely vital for the future of our state.
“I am excited to see this package of bills being proposed and look forward to seeing them receive full consideration in the Assembly, where I expect them to receive significant support.”
