36th DISTRICT LEGISLATORS ON REOPENING OF NORTH ARLINGTON BALER

(36th LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT) — 36th District State Legislators Senator Paul Sarlo, Assemblyman Fred Scalera and Assemblyman Gary S. Schaer today released the following statements regarding the re-opening of the North Arlington baler for which they have been advocating over the past several years.

Senator Sarlo:
“The North Arlington baler has been a key economic engine for North Arlington in the past and we look forward to the re-opening bringing some much needed tax relief to the residents of the Borough.”

Assemblyman Scalera:
“This is great news for the taxpayers of the Borough of North Arlington who will see host community and dumping fees come into the municipality’s coffers to help stabilize property taxes.”

Assemblyman Schaer:
“I have been working closely for several years now with Mayor Peter Massa, Councilman Steve Tanelli, Councilman Mark Yampaglia and the Meadowlands Commission to ensure that the baler would be re-opened and look forward to the tax-benefits it will once again bring to the community.”
