*** THURSDAY ADVISORY *** ASSEMBLY PANEL TO EXAMINE PROPOSED CHANGES TO N.J. PERSONAL INJURY PROTECTION BENEFITS SYSTEM

(TRENTON) – The Assembly Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee will meet at 10 a.m. Thursday to hear testimony on proposed changes to New Jersey’s Personal Injury Protection benefits system.
The meeting is set for 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 6 in Committee Room 12 on the Fourth Floor of the State House Annex in Trenton.

The panel chaired by Assemblyman Gary Schaer (D-Passaic/Bergen/Essex) will hear testimony on regulations proposed by the Department of Banking and Insurance to revise New Jersey’s Personal Injury Protection benefits system, including revisions to the benefit payment fee schedule for automobile insurers, medical protocols and the dispute resolution system.
