*** THURSDAY ASSEMBLY SESSION *** Sports Gaming, Cracking Down on "Pink", Child Marriage Ban, Requiring Schools to Maintain Narcan Supply, Providing Lactation Rooms in PANYNJ Airports Top Thursday Assembly Session

(TRENTON) – Legalizing sports gaming, cracking down on “pink”, a powerful synthetic opioid stronger than heroin, banning marriage for anyone under 18, requiring schools to maintain a supply of narcan and providing lactation rooms at certain PANYNJ airports top Thursday’s Assembly voting session.

Also up: helping displaced professionals from Puerto Rico who relocated to New Jersey, smoking ban at public beaches and parks, studying the cause and rates of maternal death in the state, developing New Jersey Report Card of Hospital Maternity Care, authorizing parking privileges for certain healthcare workers, improving the review process of low-income home energy assistance program applications, allowing impoundment of all-terrain vehicles and dirt bikes used in crimes, establishing loan program to support the state’s wineries, exempting hair braiders from cosmetology licensing requirement and requiring DEP to Update Shore Protection Master Plan.
