*** TUESDAY ADVISORY *** NEW ASSEMBLY LEADERSHIP TO DISCUSS PLANS FOR UPCOMING LEGISLATIVE SESSION

Incoming Democratic Assembly Speaker Sheila Y. Oliver, Assembly Republican Leader Alex DeCroce, incoming Assembly Majority Leader Joseph Cryan and incoming Assembly Republican Conference Leader Jon Bramnick will hold a joint news conference Tuesday morning to discuss plans for the upcoming legislative session.
The news conference is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. in Room 109 at the State House in Trenton.
The Assembly will organize at noon Tuesday at the Trenton War Memorial.
Oliver (D-Essex) will become the first African-American woman to serve as Assembly Speaker and to lead a legislative house in New Jersey. Oliver will also become just the second African-American woman in American history to lead a state legislative house.
DeCroce (R-Morris) has been chosen Assembly Republican Leader by his colleagues for every session since 2003.
