VAINIERI HUTTLE: ‘Anti-bullying law is a good start’

Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle (D-Bergen) had the following published in The Record of Bergen County :

“Bullying has been called a rite of passage, child’s play and even character building. Such a belief is misguided and outdated. The reality of 21st century bullying is grim, and in some horrific cases, deadly. Fortunately, New Jersey understands this and took bold action by enacting the bipartisan Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights. Our state is now a national leader in anti-bullying efforts, and our law is a model for the country…”
