Our Lady of Visitation Academy Receives National Blue Ribbon Award

Assembly Democrats Connie Wagner and Tim Eustace will host a ceremony at Our Lady of Visitation Academy in Paramus to celebrate the school receiving the National Blue Ribbon Schools Award for 2012.

Wagner and Eustace will present the school with a joint resolution from the legislature honoring the students and their parents for the esteemed accomplishment. Also expected to attend are county and local officials.

The National Blue Ribbon Schools program recognizes public and private elementary, middle and high schools where students perform at very high levels or where significant improvements are being made in students’ levels of academic achievement. Since 1982, the U.S. Department of Education’s National Blue Ribbon Schools Program has honored America’s most successful public and private elementary, middle, and high schools.

The event will take place in the school’s gymnasium on Tuesday, Jan. 22, from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. Our Lady of Visitation Academy is located at 234 N. Fairview Ave, Paramus NJ.
