Wagner to Participate in Million Mom March for Gun Control in Washington DC

(Trenton) – Assemblywoman Connie Wagner announced plans to attend the Million Mom March for Gun Control in Washington DC on Saturday, January 26. The legislative office also will organize bus trip for Bergen County residents to also attend the event.

“Gun control is a critical community issue heightened by the recent unspeakable tragedy in Connecticut,” said Wagner (D-Bergen/Passaic). “I look forward to joining with the residents of Bergen County and Moms from across the country to march for impactful legislative action to occur nationally and within each state that would help us take the reigns on gun control.

“We will go to Washington to represent our state in the fight against senseless gun crimes occurring far too often in this country. It is time the nation takes a stand and New Jersey will be there.”

Residents wishing to participate in March for Gun Control and bus trip to Washington may contact Julie O’Brien at the 38th District Legislative Office (201) 576-9199 or by email, AswWagner@njleg.org.
