Watson Coleman: Still Unanswered Questions on Property Tax Rebate for Seniors, Low Income Familie

(TRENTON) – Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Mercer/Hunterdon) on Thursday released the following statement further criticizing delay of property tax credits for seniors, disabled and low-income homeowners:

“Once again this administration has not acceptably explained why New Jersey’s residents will not see their property tax rebates this spring. Further delaying the property tax rebate is simply offensive to our seniors, disabled residents and low-income working families who would benefit from this help. The governor should not continue to make promises he is unwilling to keep. This hurts the citizens who need it and deserve it the most, especially in these tough economic times.”
