*** WEDNESDAY ADVISORY *** ASSEMBLY BUDGET PANEL TO VISIT MONTCLAIR FOR SECOND PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED STATE BUDGET

(MONTCLAIR) – The Assembly Budget Committee will visit Montclair State University on Wednesday to hold its second public hearing on Gov. Chris Christie’s proposed state budget for next fiscal year.
“It’s a chance for lively public discussion with citizens directly impacted by the governor’s proposal,” said Assembly Budget Chairman Lou Greenwald (D-Camden. “We stay all day long and into the night and listen to every idea and opinion. It’s an invaluable opportunity to hear from constituents and try to match the needs of the communities with fiscal realities.”
The hearing will be held Wednesday, March 16 at 9:30 a.m. at Montclair State University’s University Hall Conference Center, 1 Normal Ave. in Montclair.
