The Assembly Budget Committee on Wednesday will review proposed FY 2017 spending plans for the Department of Transportation, New Jersey Transit and the Motor Vehicle Commission. The hearing comes amid discussions surrounding the future of the Transportation Trust Fund, which is set to run out of money on July 1.
The committee also will review the proposed budget for the Department of Banking and Insurance.
The Department of Transportation budget plan will be reviewed at 10 a.m.
The Department of Banking and Insurance budget plan will be reviewed at 2 p.m.
The hearings will be held in Committee Room 11 on the 4th Floor of the State House Annex in Trenton.
