(TRENTON) — The New Jersey Legislative Select Committee on Investigation has issued subpoenas to four people to testify before the panel in May.
The committee will receive testimony from:
- Christina Genovese Renna on May 6 at 10 a.m.;
- William “Pat” Schuber on May 6 at 2 p.m.;
- Michael Drewniak on May 13 at 10 a.m.; and
- Patrick Foye on May 13 at 2 p.m.
Committee co-chairs Senate Majority Leader Loretta Weinberg (D-Bergen) and Assemblyman John Wisniewski (D-Middlesex) released the following statement:
“With these subpoenas for testimony, the joint committee is moving to a key stage of its investigation into how this abuse of government power and threat to public safety occurred.
“The people of New Jersey continue to deserve clear answers as to how this abuse was allowed to happen, and the four people we’ve called to testify can begin providing insight into the troubling environment that allowed something as concerning as these lane closings to happen.
“Their insight will be crucial to our reform efforts. We look forward to their cooperation and testimony.”
