(Trenton) – Assemblyman Benjie Wimberly (D-Bergen, Passaic) released the following statement on the Governor’s proposed Horizon legislation:
“3.8 million New Jerseyans are covered under Horizon healthcare plans. In a time of uncertainty regarding healthcare in this country, any bill proposal that would jeopardize coverage or rates for residents should be declared null and void. Forcing an organization to dig into their reserves in the name of charity and benevolence is morally questionable. This is just another bully-tactic by the Governor added to the many we have seen over the course of his term.”
