Assemblyman John S. Wisniewski (D-Middlesex) issued the following statement Thursday in response to the proposal by Senator Tom Kean, Jr. for a tax cut for Atlantic City entertainers:
“Senator Kean’s proposal to cut taxes for those who provide entertainment in Atlantic City is the latest rehash of the Republican response to everything that ails us – cut taxes for those who already have plenty.
“Atlantic City’s problems won’t be solved by making wealthy entertainers wealthier. It will be solved when our middle class have the jobs and wages that would allow them to spend some time there.
“This is the task that should be the focus of Senator Kean’s attention.”
