Wisniewski & Coughlin to Tour DEP Remediation Project at Home of Sayreville Resident

Ground Water and Soil Contamination Remediation Work Underway

On Friday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. Assemblymen John S. Wisniewski and Craig Coughlin (both D-Middlesex) will tour the site remediation work being conducted at 43 Scott Avenue, South Amboy – home of Herve Blemur.

The source of the contamination is the subject of an ongoing investigation but is suspected to have resulted from the site’s previous industrial use. The remediation work began on March 16, 2015 and will include the removal of contaminated soil in the area of 41 and 43 Scott Avenue.
