Donation Drive Held in Conjunction with Greenville, South Carolina Middle Academy School Trip

SAYREVILLE, N.J. – Assemblyman Deputy Speaker John S. Wisniewski on Friday will join 8th grade students from the Greenville Middle Academy in Greenville, South Carolina as they arrive to donate hurricane relief supplies to the Sayreville Storm Relief Donation Center.

The students will stop in Sayreville as they begin their return trip to South Carolina following a school trip to New York City and Philadelphia, which they had considered cancelling after Hurricane Sandy. Instead, students, parents and school representatives decided to conduct a local Hurricane Relief Supplies drive in conjunction with their school trip.

The supplies, which include water, blankets and food are being donated to the Sayreville Center at the suggestion of Steve Sulligan, President of Blue Ridge Tours, the company conducting the student trip. Mr. Sulligan is a retired South Carolina State Trooper and a former resident of Sayreville.
