Assembly Budget Panel to Consider Community Affairs & Environmental Protection Spending

(TRENTON) – The Assembly Budget Committee will meet Thursday to consider proposed spending for the Department of Community Affairs and the Department of Environmental Protection.
The Community Affairs hearing will begin at 10 a.m. in Committee Room 11 on the 4th Floor of the State House Annex in Trenton.
It will include discussion of the 18.6 net property tax hike seen under Gov. Chris Christie and the governor’s recent raid of municipal affordable housing funds.
The Environmental Protection hearing will begin at 2 p.m. in the same location.
