(TRENTON) – Assembly Majority Leader Joe Cryan (D-Union) released the following statement Friday on Gov. Chris Christie’s vetoes of bills designed to create jobs and spark economic development:
“Seldom has a governor had such complete disregard for the well-being of working class residents struggling each and every day to get by.
“Gov. Christie may view this all as a big stage show starring himself, but the governor and his policies of hurting people are a vicious joke, with the only punch line being the way the governor slams New Jersey’s middle-class and poor over and over again.
“Vetoes like this may continue to put him on Fox News, but they’re also going to keep New Jerseyans on the unemployment line.
“That’s disgusting, even for an ideologue.”
