Victims to Share Stories that Helped Prompt Lengthy Endeavor to Craft Legislation
Senate Majority Leader Barbara Buono and Assemblywoman Valerie Vainieri Huttle will hold a press conference on Monday to unveil the “Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights” – legislation designed to combat harassment, intimidation and bullying.
The lawmakers will be joined by advocates and victims who will share their stories, which helped prompt a nearly ten-month effort to craft this legislation.
The press conference will take place on Monday, October 25, at 11 am in Room 109 of the Statehouse across from the Assembly Chambers.
