The Senate Legislative Oversight Committee and the Assembly Judiciary Committee will hold a joint hearing Monday to continue their examination of transit related issues, focusing on the critical Gateway Tunnel Program and other federal mass transit funding issues.
The hearing comes just a few weeks after top state and federal officials from New Jersey and New York met with President Trump to discuss the project, which is viewed as critical to the region’s infrastructure and economy.
The committees will receive testimony from John Porcari, Executive Director of the Gateway Development Corporation; Steve Santoro, Executive Director of NJ Transit; and other invited guests.
The hearing will take place on Monday, September 25, at 10 a.m. in Committee Room 4, on the first floor of the State House Annex in Trenton.
Live audio of the hearing will be streamed online here.
