Assembly Budget Committee members Gordon Johnson, John Burzichelli and Gary Schaer talk of the importance of A-33 and A-31, two bills advanced by the committee on Monday that aim at enhancing benefits and easing poverty in New Jersey.
A31 increases amount of benefits under Work First New Jersey program by 30 percent over three years and according to Social Security cost of living increases thereafter. A33 repeals the family cap in Work First New Jersey program.
